When we remove water from cow's milk, we get condensed milk. If sugar is added, we get sweeten condensed milk. This sweeten condensed milk is used in dessert dishes in many countries.
Condensed milk contains all the essential nutrients that can be found in cow’s milk – proteins, fats and carbohydrates. It is rich in calcium - mineral that helps in the formation of bones and teeth. This is especially important for children. Potassium and magnesium, which are important for proper nerve function and for proper muscular function, are also contained in condensed milk.
