Parmesan cheese is made from unpasteurized cow’s milk. It is naturally made cheese, with no additives or preservatives added. This cheese is made in the same traditional way for more than 800 years.
It is very good source of phosphorus, protein and calcium. Two ounces (56g) of this cheese contain 40 percent of daily protein needs. Parmesan cheese has more calcium than any other cheese, and lower fat content than many other cheeses.
