Carrot Broccoli Juice

Broccoli stands out as the most concentrated source of vitamin C. If you prepare it with other fruits and vegetables in the manner described below, you will get a juice so tasty that you will forget how healthy it is.

Directions

Wash and cut broccoli. Fill a pot with water. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Place broccoli into the boiling water and blanch it for about 3 minutes. Set broccoli aside until cool.

Wash carrot, apple and tomato, and cut them into pieces.

Peel, cut, and mix banana with milk.

Press in the following order – broccoli, carrot, apple, tomato and banana mixture.

Add agave syrup into freshly squeezed juice. Stir well and serve.

Tips

In this recipe we used whole milk, 3.25% milk fat, but you can use low-fat or nonfat milk if you want to reduce calories or fat.
If you are on a weight loss diet, do not use agave syrup.
If you are on a juice fasting diet, replace milk with water, and don’t use agave syrup.
